This recipe creates a pizza dough dry mix that is stored in your refrigerator to be used whenever you are in need of a quick meal. This recipe can make 4 XL pizzas or you can use the original recipe to make 8 medium pizzas.
Sift the flour then add all remaining dry ingredients and mix well.
Cut in the shortening until there are no pieces larger than a pea.
Store in the refrigerator until ready to make a pizza.
The pizza crust this recipe makes is not a traditional type of dough and has more of a bready texture similar to a biscuit. It is still delicious if not a bit different and we hope that you enjoy it!
